ABOUT KFM
Kirland Fraser Moor (KFM) is a multi-disciplinary practice established in 2000. Over two decades, we have worked with a wide range of clients, briefs and budgets to create high-quality innovative works grounded in a sensitive understanding of local landscapes, ecologies and building traditions. In meeting these rural and suburban challenges, we have developed a distinguished corpus of country houses (Paragraph 55/79/80/84), masterplans, and places for education and leisure that have excelled in navigating the demands of planning authorities and stakeholders in greenbelt, conservation areas and SSSIs.
We approach sustainability proactively, engaging in regionalised social, economic and ecological concerns through research and development programmes at both our Hertfordshire and London bases. Applying our findings on site and beyond to the benefit of the public, the profession and our practice, we strive to improve humanity’s relationship with its environment, craftmanship and materials.
Local professionals work with us at D-Lab, a non-profit social enterprise studio founded by KFM, to offer mentoring, support and resources to the community – providing a starting platform into creative industies. Opportunities include the A^3 Summer School, our Co-Creation Conference and inductions into 3D printing, Textiles, VR and more.
